You are invited to apply to participate in the Simons Searchlight Community Advisory Committee (CAC). The deadline for applications is October 21. 

As a CAC member, you will have the chance to provide your perspective on Simons Searchlight’s research priorities, offer feedback on research surveys and website functionality, and give input on articles, webinars, and other communications of interest to the community. 

If you are interested, here are a few things that you should know before you agree to participate:

• You will help Simons Searchlight develop and test research surveys, take informal polls, and participate in online focus groups and CAC meetings.
• Members will be asked to devote at least 10 hours per year to CAC-related activities.
• We will design the activities so that you can participate when and where it is convenient for you.
• Active participants will receive a gift card as a thank you for their term of participation.
• Members will be invited to serve for 2-year terms but may resign at any time.
